DRIVER
WHAT DRIVES YOU?
YOU are unique, and are faced with your own set of personal challenges and obstacles to achieve your goals. Our current medical model doesn't take your individual mind, body, and spirit into account when developing your plan of care. Doctors are trained to quickly categorize your symptoms, diagnose according to textbook definitions, and prescribe "medicines" that decrease and mask these symptoms. You deserve better!
You deserve to be listened to and to have the opportunity to develop a trusting relationship with a healthcare and wellness provider. That's where I come in. Through various methods, ranging from health and fitness questionnaires, over the phone interviews/conversations, and/or video conferences, and recorded videos sent between you and myself, I take the time to listen, asses, and learn what difficulties you are having, and how best to create a sustainable holistic health and wellness program that you feel meets your individuals needs. Programs are based around my healthcare expertise in kinesiology and exercise science as it relates to increasing and improving overall systemic mental and physiologic health.
what is your reason?
Hello! My name is Blake Driver Brown and I'm a Fitness Nurse. This means I'm a registered nurse, a certified personal trainer, and a wellness advisor and coach professionally educated and trained in exercise medicine. I work with clients across the entire spectrum of health and dis-ease, ranging from those that are "relatively healthy", to those that are on a multitude of medications and are attempting to juggle various chronic illnesses, diseases, and disability. Exercise is medicine, and I utilize and prescribe it as such.

I view exercise as medicine, and just like medicine, there is an optimal dose-response relationship between the exercise prescription and the desired effect. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, is the mind-body connection between the external physical exercise itself, and the internal way your mind interprets the movements. In my professional opinion, optimal training should be both mentally and physically challenging, while simultaneously FUN and ENJOYABLE. No matter who you are, what your physical condition currently is, or what your health and fitness goals may be, I can help show you the path towards achieving long term sustainable results.
